Biography
Mir Taqi Mir was born in Agra and later moved to Delhi and Lucknow. His poetry reflects themes of love, pain, mysticism, and the socio-political decline of Delhi. He is often called “Khuda-e-Sukhan” (God of Poetry) for his mastery of the Urdu ghazal.
